AAPM&R Sponsorship Opportunity:

Annual Assembly Education

Presented each fall, the AAPM&R Annual Assembly and Technical Exhibition is the premier live venue for education on topics most relevant to PM&R. In 2007, more than 2,000 physicians attended the Annual Assembly.

The assembly, which extends four days and offers over 100 courses and workshops, is divided into five education tracks.

Primary Tracks are:
  • Musculoskeletal Medicine

  • Neurological Rehabilitation

  • Practice Management and Leadership

  • Rehabilitation Topics

  • Spine/Spinal Cord Injury

Secondary tracks are:
  • Acquired Brain Injury

  • Electrodiagnostic Medicine

  • Geriatrics

  • Pain Rehabilitation

  • Pediatrics

The secondary tracks provide additional depth and emphasis and are integrated across the educational tracks. Registrants attend sessions that directly meet their needs, but cut across the specialty to find the common links among PM&R physicians. Attendee evaluations continue to be strong, pointing towards the value of this educational format.
