New and Improved this year, we have added a lecture only day covering evidenced based evaluation and management of cervical spine disorders. All Physicians who treat cervical spine pain will benefit from attending. Additionally, Physical Therapists and Chiropractors are invited to attend. This lecture only day can be attended independent from the hands on cadaver lab that will take place on day two and day three.
The hands on portion of this course is designed for physicians experienced in general cervical spine procedures who seek to improve proficiency in administering diagnostic and therapeutic injections in the cervical spine region.

Education Information
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be
able to:
- Interpret patient history, physical examination, electrodiagnostic, and radiographic findings to develop a differential diagnosis of a patient’s cervical spine pathology
- Develop an appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic algorithm for cervical spine pain.
- Demonstrate a skill for performing the spinal procedures discussed in the lectures and workshops
- Identify the risks and benefits of each treatment
- Discuss potential complications of cervical spinal injections, as well as prevention, assessment, and treatment of complications
Participants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with
the Educational Guidelines for the Performance of Spinal Injection
Procedures prior to attending the course.

The Hands-on course Saturday, August 28th and Sunday, August 29th is designed for physicians experienced in spine procedures who seek to improve proficiency in administering diagnostic and therapeutic injections in the cervical spine region.
- Cervical Interlaminar Injection
- Cervical Transforaminal Injection
- Cervical Medial Branch Block and Third Occipital Nerve Block
- Cervical Zygapophysial Joint Injection—Lateral Approach
- C1-2 Joint Injection OR Cervical Zygapophysial Joint Injection—Posterior Approach
