August 22 Town Hall: Health Care Reform on the Hill |
Your Academy is hosting a Town Hall meeting to continue the dialogue following the release of the Academy’s health care reform principles. Jennifer Zumsteg, MD, FAAPMR, Health Policy and Legislation Committee Chair, and Peter Thomas, JD, Powers, Pyles, Sutter, and Verville, in Washington, D.C., will provide an overview of the Academy’s overall advocacy program and current efforts.
The Town Hall will primarily serve as an opportunity for us to get your feedback. Please come prepared with your questions and comments regarding our federal and state legislative efforts, especially pertaining to health care reform. Join us for this meeting.
