Provide Your Input on Telehealth Today

Nov 30, 2021

Participate in the American Medical Association’s Telehealth Use Survey
You are invited to complete the American Medical Association’s (AMA) survey, which will assess the current landscape and use of telehealth among physicians and other healthcare practitioners. Your experience and insight on the use of telehealth services is important and critical to informing the future of telehealth in our nation. AAPM&R wants to ensure physiatry is well represented!

Click here to take the survey.

The goal of this AMA project is to learn more about your experience with telehealth—what’s working, ongoing challenges, benefits and opportunities. A de-identified aggregate report of survey findings will be shared with the public for the purposes of supporting telehealth initiatives, programs and services at practices and health systems. Results will also help inform future telehealth research and advocacy, resource development, and continued support for physicians, practices and health systems.

This survey is intended for physicians and other healthcare practitioners (e.g., nurse practitioners, physician assistants). We ask that you complete the survey based on your personal experiences. The survey should take no longer than 10-15 minutes. Thank you in advance for your time and participation. We want to hear from as many clinicians as possible, so if you have colleagues who use telehealth, consider forwarding this invitation to them.

If you have any questions, contact the AMA Digital Health team at digital.health@ama-assn.org. The survey will close on December 31, 2021, at 11:59 pm (ET).

All responses are confidential to the investigators and the AMA. Your decision to take part in this study is entirely voluntary and you have the right to refuse participation. Your participation will not affect affiliation (or lack of affiliation) with the AMA in any way. Please review the Terms and Conditions of participation.

If you should encounter problems in filling out the survey itself or to send a message to the study investigators, please contact the research team

If you have questions about your rights as a study subject; including questions, concerns, complaints, or if you feel you have not been treated according to the description in this form; or to offer input you may call the UIC Office for the Protection of Research Subjects (OPRS) at 312-996-1711 or 1-866-789-6215 (toll-free) or e-mail OPRS at uicirb@uic.edu. You can also write to the OPRS at 1737 West Polk Street, Suite 310 Chicago, IL 60612.
