Quality Tool Boxes: A New (and Growing!) Resource from Your Academy

{6820e5e9-bb4e-4d29-b13e-a4b26ed064e4}_QTB

The Performance Metrics Committee, in collaboration with the Councils, has been working to develop Quality Tool Boxes (QTBs) for specific health conditions. The QTBs are a web-based resource for Academy members that include existing tools specifically tailored for physiatric practice.

The intent behind the QTB project is to bring together a variety of already existing resources on a particular condition and house that information in one centralized location for ease of access and use by AAPM&R members. Resources and tools included in the QTBs have been recommended by a group of subject matter experts who treat patients with the particular condition, and have been vetted by the Academy’s Performance Metrics Committee.

The first 2 QTBs have been published to the Academy’s website: The Pediatric Council’s QTB on spina bifida, and the CNS Council’s QTB on mild traumatic brain injury. Clickhereto access the QTBs, and be sure to check back frequently as QTBs will be published on an ongoing basis.
