The AAPM&R Delegation attended the American Medical Association’s House of Delegates (AMA HOD) Interim Meeting from November 8-12, 2024, in Orlando, FL. The two resolutions submitted on behalf of AAPM&R were ultimately adopted as official AMA policy. The Academy extends our deepest gratitude to the dedicated AAPM&R Delegates who played an essential role in advocating for these resolutions: Susan Hubbell, MD, FAAPMR (Delegate, PM&R Section Council Chair); Stuart Glassman, MD, MBA, FAAMPR (Delegate, Mobility Caucus Chair, Specialty and Service Society Caucus Chair); Carlo Milani, MD, MBA, FAAPMR (Young Physician Section, Alternate Delegate); Rosalynn Conic, MD, MPH, PhD (Resident and Fellow Sectional Delegate). Their hard work and commitment to advancing PM&R have resulted in meaningful policy changes that will positively impact patients and our field.
