AAPM&R recently updated the Quality Reporting website to include new information and resources related to reporting for the Merit Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). New guides related to each MIPS category are available including a Quality Category Guide, Improvement Activities Guide, Promoting Interoperability Guide, and Cost Guide. The Academy website also includes a detailed resource about the MIPS Value Pathways (MVP) program which is intended to streamline MIPS participation. Members who are unsure whether they need to report MIPS should consult the participation status lookup feature on the CMS Quality Payment Program website.
