In August, the Academy's Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee reviewed 4 guidelines with the Quality Practice, Policy & Research (QPPR) Committee. Your Academy sent letters to the following organizations:

• American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) - Diagnosis and Management of Childhood Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome – Affirmed Guideline
• National Institute for Health and Care excellence (NICE) - Urinary incontinence in neurological disease:  assessment and management– Endorsed Guideline
• The National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) - Appropriate Prehospital Care of the Spine-Injured Athlete – Affirmed Guideline  
• North American Spine Society (NASS) - Clinical Guidelines for Multidisciplinary Spine Care Diagnosis and Treatment of Lumbar Disc Herniation with Radiculopathy – Proactively sent a comment letter rather than a decision letter, as these guidelines are scheduled for update in 2017.
