The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), a legislative branch agency that conducts nonpartisan, independent research for Congress, is looking for volunteers to provide their perspective on state prescription drug monitoring programs (PDMPs) in Nebraska.
As part of their work, they have selected 9 states and 1 territory, including Nebraska, to learn more detailed information about providers’ use of PDMPs and how PDMPs are structured and operated as well as the providers’ experience using PDMPs in clinical settings.
Your input is valuable and will help the GAO provide accurate information to Congress and the public, including ways that the federal government may be better able to support PDMPs. The GAO anticipates this work will result in a report issued to Congress, which will be publicly available.
Learn more here. Hurry; the submission deadline is Monday, February 17.
