- Define spasticity and other signs of upper motor neuron syndrome
- Compare measurement tools and treatment outcomes in patients with upper limb spasticity
- Apply clinical assessments of upper limb spasticity
- Recognize problems encountered with different treatment strategies
- Understand definitions of movement disorders
- Identify key clinical elements distinguishing between spasticity, contracture, weakness and impaired motor control
- Develop a strategic approach to the assessment of patient with lower limb spasticity
- Select goals and outcome measures
- Formulate a treatment plan for patients with lower limb spasticity
- Discuss the functional impact of dystonia
- Review treatments of dystonia from a physiatric perspective
