AAPM&R Submits Comments to the COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force
On October 28, we submitted comments to the COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force. Our recommendations include:
- Need for a Federal Body to Coordinate the Long COVID Response
- Long COVID Federal Advisory Committee
- Support for Multi-Disciplinary Committee
We urge the task force to include these recommendations in its final report to President Biden and encourage the federal government to include the voice of physiatry in any federal advisory committee or other stakeholder groups working on these critical policy issues. Read our full comment letter.
