Patient Education

At the UW Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, our mission is to achieve and advance the highest quality rehabilitation care, training, and research. Our highly-ranked inpatient programs offer the highest quality of care to individuals who have sustained a traumatic injury requiring inpatient rehabilitation, and our outpatient programs offer care and support for a wide variety of conditions including concussion. Our research helps drive discoveries that directly impact patient care, such as new guidelines on concussions for student athletes.
