The House of Delegates is the principal policy-making body of the American Medical Association (AMA). Your Academy is actively involved in the AMA House of Delegates efforts through the formation of the PM&R Section Council and chairing the Mobility Caucus. The PM&R Section Council serves as a representative for physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, advocating for policies that affect physiatrists and their practices. The Mobility Caucus works within the AMA to facilitate communication and action on relevant issues and projects, especially as they relate to the care of patients with neurological or musculoskeletal problems that affect function, wellbeing and quality of life.
