Stanley Herring, MD, FAAPMR,
is retiring as a team physician after 30 years with the Seattle Seahawks. Dr. Herring is a pioneer in the field of player safety and helped get laws passed aimed to reduce concussion risk and protect student athletes. He was also the Academy’s 2021 Frank H. Krusen, MD, Lifetime Achievement Award
