The Health Policy & Legislation (HP&L) committee has been working with the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services and the Office of the Inspector General over the last six months to address Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility medical necessity and technical or documentation denials of Medicare claims.
HP&L has also been working to address issues in Medicare Advantage and prior authorization denials. The presentation will also include an overview of Federal government initiatives to reduce physician burden, presented by one of our DC lobbyists.
