The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released new performance data on Physician Compare! Select 2015 individual clinician and group practice Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) and Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) for PQRS measures are publicly reported as performance scores on the Physician Compare website.
This 2015 data release includes:
- 90 individual clinician-level PQRS measures collected via claims and registry and 16 non-PQRS Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) measures for approximately 175,000 individual clinicians
- 91 group practice-level PQRS measures collected via the web interface and registry and 8 Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) for PQRS summary survey measures for approximately 2,500 group practices
- 19 Shared Savings Program and Pioneer ACO measures for approximately 400 ACOs
This represents a significantly larger and more diverse set of quality information for group practices, individual clinicians, and ACOs. This will help people with Medicare coverage to better evaluate data for more group practices and clinicians across a range of specialties.
