CMS has launched a new data submission system for clinicians participating in the 2017 Quality Payment Program (QPP). Clinicians can now submit all of their 2017 MIPS data through one platform on the QPP website up to the deadline of March 31, 2018, with the exception of CMS Web Interface users whose time frame to report quality data is from January 22, 2018 to March 16, 2018.
- Quality performance category. For this category, if you have already reported quality data via the claims reporting mechanism, no further action is required; CMS will calculate a score based on your reported claims data, but information regarding this calculation will not appear in the data submission system.
- Advancing Care Information and Improvement Activities performance categories. Attestations for these categories can be done through the data submission system.
